Clio Cannabis Awards – GPA takes home 2 awards

We’re pleased to announce that two packs, Happy Valley and Heavy Hitters,  manufactured by GPA in 2021 have picked up Bronze at the Clio Cannabis Awards.

Our project for Happy Valley involved manufacturing a child-resistant and sustainable pack to hold pre-rolls. We worked from one our proprietary tin formats, the LS-2, to craft a functional yet stylish red and white tin. Notable features include the child-resistant locking mechanism, strike plate, and match compartment which allow for easy, on-the-go lighting. It’s the perfect pocket accessory for cannabis connoisseurs who value convenience.

Our pack for Heavy Hitters incorporates a fully custom one-of-a-kind tincture bottle, rocks glass, and stainless-steel jigger. We manufactured the bottle from 90% opaque, super flint glass, adding a silver-plated, child-resistant lid and a striking rainbow foil label. Holding the entire set is an outer pack wrapped in black, soft-touch paper embellished with UV print and laser foil.

The Clio Awards were established in 1959 to recognize the achievements of creative agencies across multiple sectors, including entertainment and fashion. Sixty years later came the Clio Cannabis Awards, and they’re already setting the bar for creatives and manufacturers within this growing industry.
